A Cup of Tea in Philly, Via Tea Time Mag

We are beaming with pride on our 2 page feature in Tea Time Magazine as part of their “A Cup of Tea in Philly” article. Preceded by The Dandelion Pub and followed by Mary Cassatt Tearoom  & Elwood, I’ve got to say, I’m feeling some kinda special!

Before the article had gone to print, I was a bit nervous about oversharing my personal details with Katherine Ellis, who had written the article. To my relief, not only was I well represented in regards to the information about my ADHD and how it fed my desire to create such a space but, I was even able to edit the copy and had some fun adding quirky turns of phrase, my fav addition was the “ill prepared brew” part of the following quote:

“We try to meet people where they are in their tea journey. They might have a negative association with tea from a past experience in life, whether it be from a time of sickness or from an ill-prepared brew. They can now create a new association in a positive way.”
