Blossoms in Your Cup

a screenshot of fruit and vegetable stand

The first flowers of spring are such an inspiration and I’ve been trying my best to embrace their positive impact. I’ve been spending my free time carefully harvesting and drying the Forsythia, Magnolia and Violets (to name a few) in order to share their splendor during the Blending with Intention class that I will be teaching at the Wyck Rose Garden in Germantown this July.

Farmers markets are another seasonal sensation and I’m grateful to be included in the upcoming Germantown Farmers Market that is set to start on May 8th.

We’ll also be popping up at our favorite coffee loving community space, Franny Lou’s Porch on Saturday April 24th during their Rad Love Market.

Though the freshness of spring can cause us to forget the events of the cooler weather, I’d like to share a reprise of our recent past. We went on a road trip with the Dream Poet, Marshall James Kavanaugh on zoom and shared a collective cup of Heart Speak. If you missed the event you can experience the grandeur here and pick up a copy of Travel by Haiku.

Our brick and mortar in Northern Liberties is still following the Covid protocol with our Thursday 12-6pm pre-order pickup and 2 customer at a time standard. While we are remaining as safe as possible there are some exciting changes in the works. We’re going to be opening a streetery in front of the store and releasing a new seasonal menu involving the extras grown at participating community gardens. More details are on the way so stay tuned!

I look forward to sharing tea and enjoying the blossoms with you. I wish for the health and safety of you and yours.

Be well,

Becky
