It’s Sakura Season!!!
A favorite time of year for many and a magical moment for foragers.
Every year I harvest the beautiful cherry blossoms from a secluded stash of trees in Germantown to make our trio of teas that have become an RTR exclusive.
You may have experienced our booth last year at the @shofuso @phillysakura Cherry Blossom Festival. Perhaps you practiced #Hanami with us on the lawn while sampling our custom brews? We are taking a break this year from presenting at the festival (I am a pedestrian survivor of a hit and run with no extra energy) but will never stop foraging!!!
Our brick and mortar in Northern Liberties is currently restocked with Sakura White, Green and Chai.
Pre-orders for this year’s batch of blossom blessed blends will be available in the near future.

Sakura White (loose leaf close up) - Ths special blend is dressed with cherry blossoms brined & pickled in plum wine, a traditional Japanese method. Once dried they are blended with Jasmine Silver Needle and White Peony.
