Our 1st In-Person Events @RTR Since 2020!!!
Have I told you lately that we miss your mug?
If not, well, we do and we’re ready to share some very nice experiences with you. Our 1st event is September 8th in the courtyard with our friend Shannon Danielle who will be speaking to the spirits that decide to accompany you. If you can’t make it this week, she will be back for two more events, see below for more details.
Next month we will also have the closing reception for our long running exhibit: Turtles, Crabs, and Moths: Prints by Allen Crawford.
A limited number of his giclee prints will be available for sale and will not be re-printed any time soon due to a lack of working printer and increase in printing costs. Make sure to check out his website to learn about his many talents and conquests, my descriptions can only do so much to paint the picture of this living animation.
We can’t wait to see you!

Please join us for the closing reception of the longest running art exhibit ever at RTR.
Allen Crawford is a dear friend, here is a little back story on how lovely of a human he is:
In the early years of RTR, I had discovered his book The Affected Provincial’s Companion Vol. 1. Upon realizing the human that created this journal of novel living occupied space in relative proximity to me, I wrote him a message.
Fan-mail inviting the artist to participate in RTR shenanigans.
He accepted, shared his web of fantastical friends and designed the lovely tea tin labels that adorn our sustainably packed portions, all the while telling the most lively yarns and spouting blushingly flirtatious commentary.
We have been graced to have his show on the walls since February of 2020 and want to send it off with a hearty farewell.
We have 17 prints left in stock and Allen will be bringing about 40 more that have small imperfections, most of which aren’t perceptible when looked at casually (dust flecks, colors are slightly off, lighter weight paper stock, etc).
These prints will all be available at the originally listed price of $35 per print. As a gesture of Allen’s appreciation for our friendship and generosity, whatever sales are made, RTR can keep.
This is a beyond generous token that is arriving at a very important time. It has been a rough 2 years and even though we’ve been graced with several healthy grants, RTR’s finances could seriously use some monetary fortitude.
Please join us on Friday, September 16th 2022 from 5-7pm while Allen holds court in the newly renovated backyard space at the most random of tea rooms.
Turtles, Crabs, and Moths: Prints by Allen Crawford is a colorful series of Allen’s nature-themed giclee prints.
