The Tea Room is part of growing Philadelphia's Circular Economy, and has partners throughout the community who recirculate & reuse waste products and turn them into something new:

🍵 5% off to reuse tea tins or BYOmug
♻️ Utilizing compostable tea bags
🍂 Creates chai concentrate from used leaves, which Vellum Soap Co. uses in their body products
💚 Surplus tea and foods are donated using the Too Good To Go App and directly to local food pantries

Rebecca, the owner of The Random Tea Room, has already implemented many tricks to create a little less waste with every cup they serve. They joined the Challenge to explore new ways to expand their business in ways that benefit both their community in NoLibs and the environment.
