West Craft Fest + Arnold Balmer

Do you ever feel like your task at hand feels like a leaf attached to an old oak tree, colors transitioning to dark orange and golden. Then, a gust of wind or a bus drives by and in a moment that task leaf flits off to the newly accumulated pile of leaf tasks at your feet. 

That’s September for ya!  We’re trying to sway with the breeze and keep moving forward. Join us this month in West Philly we’ll be bringing the Arnold Balmer to one of our favorite festivals, in our courtyard for another moving Spirit Medium Gallery or just stop by for a cuppa during our regular hours Wednesday - Sunday from 12-6pm.

We’re looking forward to seeing you, wherever your task leaf flitters off.

We're gearing up for this Saturday's West Craft Fest as it returns to The Woodlands, 40th & Woodland in West Philadelphia, on September 24, 2022 (rain date Sept. 25).

Now in its second decade at this historic location, the outdoor Fest features handmade wares by 100 local makers, like artisan jewelry, ceramics, art prints and originals, clothing, hand knitted accessories, stationery, candles, bath & bodycare, home wares, baby gifts, and much more.

There's also live music, food vendors, make & take craft activities, and aerialist performances by Tangle Movement Arts. Explore the POP Learning Orchard at The Woodlands and check out the Philadelphia Orchard Project's fall plant sale! Gates will be open and POP staff on site to answer questions and welcome visitors from 11-2pm. A selection of POP plants will be available for purchase, including small potted figs, paw paws, elderberries, chokeberries, and blueberries.
